BOYNTON BEACH – United Way of Palm Beach County has announced the following new members to its board of directors:
- Juan Cocuy, a CPA with Cocuy, Burns & Co. P.A.
- Earnie Ellison Jr., of PGA of America.
- Danet Rodriguez Figg, of Shutts & Bowen LLP.
- Nate Nichols, deputy director/chief program officer, of Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.
- Gail D. Ray, a director with Deloitte & Touche LLP
- Dr. Shekhar Sharma of Palm Beach Primary Care.
- Steven Wasserman, vice president/general manager, of WPTV TV channel 5.
- Tenna Wiles, CEO of the Palm Beach County Medical Society.
The new members were elected during United Way’s Annual Meeting held in June.
United Way of Palm Beach County’s board of directors is comprised of volunteer community and business leaders who set policy and provide the overall direction of the organization.
In addition, United Way board members monitor all of the organization’s funding decisions, ensuring accountability and the investment of donor dollars in results-driven programs.
