C.R.O.S. Ministries (Christians Reaching Out to Society, Inc.) is an organization whose mission is to enable people of all faiths to work together to identify needs within the community and to collaborate with others to assist in creating solutions.  Many of those who rely on C.R.O.S. are eligible for government benefits but lack the means or knowledge to apply for help online. C.R.O.S. asked the city for help.

Help came from David Ricks, a supervisor at Pompey Park, who immediately offered the use of the community center’s computer lab.  With the help of C.R.O.S. Ministries' volunteers, those who need help can apply use the Pompey Park computers to search and apply for aid.

The City welcomes the opportunity to work with organizations like C.R.O.S. Ministries for the betterment of the community.
