Election day turnout strong in Delray Beach

DELRAY BEACH — Voters waited as long as two hours to cast their ballots at polling places Tuesday morning in Delray Beach. However, by late morning those long lines had dissipated by and voters could walk in with little or no delay.
The Palm Beach County supervisor of elections office reported nearly125,000 of the county's 870,000 registered voters cast ballots during the early voting period.
Polls are open until 7 p.m.
Delray Beach resident Mike Owen worked Carver Middle School on behalf of Republican House of Representatives candidate Adam Hasner. Owen was on of the few campaign workers at the polling place Tuesday afternoon,
