Delray library announces lifelong living course for August

DELRAY BEACH — The Delray Beach Public Library has announced that its Lifelong Learning Community Institute will offer is final summer course in August .

On August 3, 10, and 17 from 2 – 3:30 p.m. the Lifelong Learning Institute will offer a course presented by Marilyn Charwat entitled: “The Toolbox for Making the Rest of Your Life the Best of Your Life”

This course will help expand your experiences in daily living for now and for the future. It is designed as an inter-active dialogue for fun and personal enhancement. Enroll today and learn: The new science of happiness; How to stay healthy and young; Easy ways to relieve anxiety; How to solidify what is important to you and add purpose to your life; The science of luck, principles and practice; How to gain a sense of personal empowerment; The Amago way to relationship joy; Stress reduction in a minute; How to have the best sex of your life; and much, much more! For institute members, the course fee is $35; for non-members $50.

Charwat, a Boca Raton resident, is a psychotherapist, hypnotist, popular lecturer, a member of the Association for Ethical Hypnosis and the Association for Humanistic Psychology. She has extensive training in individual and group counseling. She is a dynamic, effective speaker and workshop leader and her early training in the theater contributes to the excitement of her workshops. She is a driving force in fitness and weight control and runs successful and innovative weight loss and weight control groups and presents programs on personal growth, sex, personal motivation, happiness and other topics for life enhancement.

Weekly courses in the fall include such topics as world affairs, art, writing, photography, Florida history, the media, travel, Socrates, stem cell research, human relations and more!.

There are no exams or grades, just learning for the pure enjoyment of learning with friends, neighbors and peers.
