By Palm Beach Business.com
DELRAY BEACH —The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency has issued a request for proposals for a 2.32-acre parcel along West Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach. Proposals are due to the CRA office by Jan. 15.
Located a half-mile east of Interstate-95 and one mile east of the Delray Beach Tri-Rail station, most of the property is located within the Central Business District. A small portion is zoned for Residential Multi-Family development. The property has more than 100 feet of frontage along West Atlantic Avenue.
The site could accommodate a three-story building with 70,000 square-feet of Class A office space and a 300-space parking structure. Alternative uses may include retail, grocery store, restaurant, community-oriented facilities and education.
The CRA will also consider proposals for smaller projects and projects that do not require the entire site. Proposals may also include various degrees of CRA participation, such as passive oversight or shared risk.
The RFP is available on the CRA website at www.delraycra.org. For more information, please call Francisco Perez-Azua at the CRA office at (561) 276-8640.
