The stop was Obama’s first after the third and final debate at nearby Lynn University Monday night.

Obama fired up the crowd, hitting Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney with lines that have become standard campaign fare. He accused Romney of taking positions on issues “all over the place,” while abandoning  some of his more conservative stances taken to win the Republican nomination in favor of a move to the center to win the general election.

“Now, we’ve come up with a name for this condition,” Obama said. “It’s called Romnesia. We had a severe outbreak last night. It was at least stage three Romnesia.”

Obama said there was some good news for the former Massachusetts governor in his fight to overcome the disease: “Obamacare covers pre-existing conditions.”

Obama cited Romney’s position against government aid for the auto industry, his embrace of running mate Paul Ryan’s proposal to transform Medicare into a voucher plan and having a tax reform plan that mathematically can’t work.

“The math in my plan adds up,” Obama said. “If we have any math teachers out there, check it out.”

He repeated a line from Monday’s debate, saying Romney had a foreign policy from the ‘80s, a social policy from the ‘50s and an economic policy from the ‘20s.

Obama cited his own accomplishments, including the killing of 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden, the end of the war in Iraq, the deadline to pull troops out of Afghanistan, and domestically, the creation of 5 million private-sector jobs.

Other speakers during the rally included former Gov. Charlie Crist, a Republican-turned-independent who is campaigning for Obama throughout Florida, and Rep. Ted Deutsch, D-Boca Raton

Fort Pierce pizza shop owner Scott Van Duzer introduced Obama to the crowd. Van Duzer famously greeted Obama with a bear hug when the president entered his shop back in September, stunning both the president and the Secret Service. Van Duzer sat with Michelle Obama during Monday’s debate.

Afterward, Obama headed off to Ohio for a rally, while Romney, who stayed at the Delray Beach Marriott Sunday and Monday, flew out to Nevada to continue his effort to unseat the president.

Early voting in Florida begins on Saturday.
